The Bridgeport consists of two, seven-story residential towers with a public/private courtyard in between. The structure is post-tensioned concrete with concrete shear walls for the lateral-load resisting system. The curvilinear north façade provided an interesting structural design opportunity that required special detailing for the post-tensioned concrete slabs. The brick exterior skin and metal details accommodate over 720 windows in this 123-unit condominium project.
